Paulina’s whole family cooked, her father was a cook and her brother a trained chef, they were also very artistic. Her mother was a prop decorator for the city theater and this is how Paulina was introduced to art snd culture. After she studied economics, she moved to Vienna to study German language and makeup artistry. She knew she wanted to be an artist and started to work for professional makeup line Make Up For Ever. After two years living in Austria she moved to Prague where she started to work for fashion magazines like Cosmopolitan and Elle.
About 20 years ago, Paulina left her native Czech Republic and ventured to the United States. Bringing with her a galaxy of experiences and memories from her European upbringing. Eventually settled in the American South — Georgia, the Peach State. This “Peach” from “Bohemia” found her new home. Paulina quickly became popular among Atlanta’s photographers and tv producers.
Then pandemic hit and all of her business paused. Paulina saw the pandemic as an opportunity to focus on things she normally could not fit into her busy life. She always had passion for food and cooking. She loved photography, styling and decorating and decided to use this time to cook, style, and capture her favorite stories and recipes. And that’s when she decided to create a lifestyle cookbook so she can share it with family and friends. Paulina believes anyone can create beauty at home, for little to no expense. And thoroughly enjoys the process.
Paulina is a single mom living in Marietta with her two boys, goldendoodle, pet turkey and a chicken.
